The VRRC trains and mobilizes local volunteers to support our most vulnerable residents during hurricanes, wildfires, extreme weather, and other emergencies. As a volunteer, you’ll receive specialized training, connect with others in your community, and play a key role in Volusia County’s emergency response and recovery efforts. Developed in collaboration with Volusia County Community Organizations Active in Disasters, the program welcomes people of all backgrounds and abilities. Whether you bring professional skills or a desire to help, there's a place for you in the VRRC.
