  COVID-19 (coronavirus) Update

Due to the recent increase of inmates around the United States contracting CoVID19 while incarcerated, the Volusia County Division of Corrections has implemented a Division wide lock down for inmates in an effort to prevent the virus from entering the jails. The lock down is expected to remain in effect for a minimum of 14 days. Friends and families will still be able to schedule visits with the inmates and will be able to communicate through the messaging system, however telephone usage has been stopped. We apologize for the any inconveniences encountered during this already difficult time, but believe the lock down will be an important step in preventing the spread of this virus.

Following the State of Emergency issued in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Florida, the Volusia County Division of Corrections will suspend all onsite visitation beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Friends and family will still be able to visit using the remote off-site option. Volusia County Division of Corrections is implementing these measures as a precaution and has no known or suspected cases of COVID-19 at this time.

Also, beginning March 17, 2020, all face-to-face (contact) visits at the Volusia County Division of Corrections are suspended until further notice. This includes all professional visitors (e.g., attorneys).
