Question 2 (of 4):  Is the business based in the limits of any City, or is it based in the Unincorporated Area of Volusia County?

If your business is located within the limits of any city, you must acquire that city’s Business Tax Receipt before you can apply for a County Business Tax Receipt.  You will need the City BTR number to complete the County application.

To look up your business address and see if it is in City Limits, visit vcpa.vcgov.org/searches.html to do a Parcel Record Search.
