LEC: Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse Hike

5:30–7 a.m., Tuesday, March 3

Participants are invited to hike to one of the tallest points of Lyonia Preserve to observe a total lunar eclipse as the moon turns red. The next total lunar eclipse will not occur until 2028. Cameras and telescopes are welcome, but participants must carry their own equipment. The weather-dependent program is recommended for adults. Close-toed shoes, water and a flashlight are required. Registration is limited and required.
