LEC: Beekeeping: Anatomy of the Hive

10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19

Explore beekeeping from a different perspective by comparing two popular hive styles: the top-bar hive and the Langstroth hive. The class will cover the advantages and disadvantages of each style and how
they are used. Participants will have an opportunity to see both types of hives up close, followed by a show-and-tell session and question-and-answer period. This program is recommended for adults.
