LEC: National Public Lands Day Hike

9-10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25

National Public Lands Day is observed annually on the fourth Saturday in September and began in 1994 to bring together conservation volunteers and natural spaces. Join Lyonia Environmental Center
for a hike through Lyonia Preserve in celebration of National Public Lands Day and this year’s theme, “Caring for Our Shared America.” Participants should be prepared to hike on sugar-sand trails, wear
closed-toe shoes, and bring water and sun protection. This program is recommended for ages 10 and older.
