LEC: Nature Neighbors: Stories and Science

11 a.m. - noon Saturday, Sept. 26

This monthly interactive program for preschoolers and early elementary-aged children combines stories, hands-on activities and nature exploration. Each session features a different theme designed to
help children build early literacy skills while discovering the natural world. This month’s program will explore trees and why specific trees are important to scrub habitat and Florida scrub-jays. The program
is presented by Volusia County Public Library and Lyonia Environmental Center.
