LEC: Quarterly Nature Journaling with Day

9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31

The Lyonia Nature Journaling Club will explore creative journaling methods, observational skills and exercises designed to encourage curiosity and awareness of the natural world. Participants will have an opportunity to share recent nature experiences, journal entries and personal techniques with the group. The quarterly program is open to all ages and abilities, although children must have adult supervision. Participants may bring their own notebooks, paper, pencils and other art supplies or use supplies provided by the center. The classroom session will be followed by a short hike in Lyonia Preserve. Participants should come prepared with sunscreen, insect repellent, hats and water.
