LEC: Foster a Seedling Program

11 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 13

Participants ages 10 and older can learn how to grow native plants from seed at home. Supplies and instruction will be provided to help participants get started. As part of the recurring program, participants will return half of the plants they grow to help expand native plantings and provide additional habitat and food sources for pollinators. The program is made possible by the Friends of Lyonia Environmental Center.

Lyonia Environmental Center will offer a variety of educational and family-friendly nature public programs throughout September. Reservations are required for all programs. To make a reservation, call 386-789-7207, ext. 21028, or search for Lyonia Environmental Center on www.eventbrite.com.
