LEC: Nature Neighbors: Stories and Science

11 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 14

Preschoolers and early elementary-aged children can explore nature through stories, hands-on activities and interactive learning. Each monthly session features a different theme designed to build early literacy skills while introducing children to the natural world. November’s topic is turkeys. The program is presented by the Volusia County Public Library and Lyonia Environmental Center.

Lyonia Environmental Center will offer a variety of educational and family-friendly nature public programs throughout September. Reservations are required for all programs. To make a reservation, call 386-789-7207, ext. 21028, or search for Lyonia Environmental Center on www.eventbrite.com.
