LEC: National Moth Week: Moth Lighting

8:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25

Celebrate National Moth Week by learning about the more than 1,400 moth species found in Florida. The evening begins with a classroom presentation about moths and their role as pollinators, followed by outdoor observation and identification activities. The program is weather dependent. Flashlights are recommended. Suitable for participants who can accommodate the late hour and are comfortable around flying insects.
