Primary Election Day is Aug. 20, but voters don’t have to wait until then to cast their ballots. Registered voters can beat the rush by voting early.
Seven early voting sites will be open in Volusia County from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 10 to 17:
- Supervisor of Elections, 1750 S. Woodland Blvd., Victoria Square, DeLand
- Deltona City Commission Chambers, 2345 Providence Blvd., Deltona
- Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 Jackie Robinson Parkway, Daytona Beach
- Midtown Cultural Center, 925 George W. Engram Blvd., Daytona Beach
- Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle, Port Orange
- Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St., Ormond Beach
- New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach
The deadline to register to vote in the primary has passed. Registered voters can request a vote-by-mail ballot on or before Aug. 8. Secure Ballot Intake Stations, formerly known as drop boxes, will be available inside each early voting site for those wanting to drop off their vote-by-mail ballots.
