County Offices Closed for Labor Day

All Volusia County offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day. Regular services will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead for any County services needed before the holiday.

For those residing in unincorporated areas of the county, garbage, recycling, bulk waste, and yard waste collection will continue as usual on Labor Day. If Monday is your collection day, please place your items at the curb by 6 a.m.

Weekend beachgoers should expect increased holiday traffic and are advised to always swim near a staffed lifeguard tower.
