Online Survey- Road Improvement Priority List
Posted On: September 4, 2024
Volusia County hosted public meetings in August 2024 to generate community feedback on the proposed Road Priority List. One meeting was held in each of the four impact fee zones to give residents the opportunity to comment and provide input into upcoming transportation and safety improvements.
Residents who could not attend in person may view the presentation, watch a recording of one of the livestreamed meetings, and provide their input by taking this survey. The survey will be available until 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
Proposed capacity projects include widening roads, improving intersections, building new roads, and extending existing roads. Potential safety projects include adding paved shoulders, widening narrow lanes, and installing turn lanes.
The collected public feedback and the Road Priority List will be presented to the Volusia County Council at a future meeting. Residents with questions about the presentation may contact the Engineering and Construction Division at 386-736-5967. If you experience a technical issue with the survey, please email cjackson@volusia.org.
