FEMA Reps to Discuss Disaster Assistance Programs

Posted On: November 9, 2024

Volusia County residents affected by Hurricane Milton are invited to join a virtual informational session with FEMA representatives from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the disaster assistance programs available to support their recovery.

FEMA representatives will discuss various relief programs, including housing assistance, prescription and medical supplies, childcare, legal services, food support, property repairs, replacement of personal possessions, and other disaster aid options. Following the presentation, residents may ask questions about the types of assistance that best address their needs.

Preregistration is not required. A link to attend will be posted at www.volusia.org/hurricanes before the meeting. Afterward, a recording of the session will be available on Volusia County’s Hurricane Milton Recovery website and YouTube channel.
