Volusia County Reopens ISB Ramp with Major Enhancements
Posted On: April 7, 2025
Volusia County reopened the International Speedway Boulevard beach ramp on April 5, transforming one of the community's most popular beach access points into a more welcoming gateway. The newly upgraded ramp features three lanes to better accommodate the volume of visitors and improve the flow of traffic onto "The World's Most Famous Beach."
The expansion and upgrades aim to enhance the overall experience by easing access, reducing congestion, and significantly improving the area's aesthetic appeal. These enhancements create a more inviting and visually pleasing environment for residents, businesses, and tourists. In addition to the increased traffic capacity, new parking facilities and bathroom amenities will be available to the public starting the same day.
As Volusia County welcomes the public back to the improved International Speedway Boulevard access point and with the weather continuing to warm up, residents planning to drive on the beach or use the new off-beach parking spots are encouraged to register for ParkVolusia at no cost.
