Offices Closed on April 18, Trash will still be Collected

All Volusia County administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 18, for Good Friday. 

There will be no changes to the garbage, recycling, bulk waste, or yard waste collection schedules for residents in unincorporated areas on the holiday. Residents living in unincorporated Volusia County whose regular collection day falls on Friday should place their items at the curb by 6 a.m. for normal pickup.

Also, there will be no holiday adjustment hours for the Tomoka Landfill and the West Volusia Transfer Station. The landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., while the transfer station will operate from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Good Friday.
