Travelers across Volusia County now have easier access to two of the nation's busiest cities with JetBlue's return to Daytona Beach International Airport. The airline launched daily, year-round nonstop service to New York's JFK International Airport and Boston on Dec. 4, reconnecting our community to major Northeast destinations.
"These flights will enhance greater business, tourism and family connections while strengthening the airport's role as a gateway to the world," said Cyrus Callum, Volusia County's director of Aviation and Economic Resources. "The community is thrilled with the return of JetBlue to Daytona Beach, as New York is our No. 1 market, and Boston is our No. 5 market. Our residents now have the ease of flying from their hometown airport to these major destinations, and now even more visitors can experience the beauty, charm and excitement of the greater Daytona Beach area with easy, nonstop flights."
The new routes eliminate the need for connecting flights, saving travelers time and hassle. JetBlue will operate its modern A220 aircraft on these routes, featuring free Wi-Fi, seatback entertainment at every seat, and complimentary snacks and drinks.
To celebrate the launch, JetBlue is offering introductory fares as low as $59 one-way to both destinations. Those interested can find the best rates and additional booking benefits by visiting www.jetblue.com.
