Cardinal Avenue off-beach parking lot open

The Cardinal Avenue off-beach parking lot at 650 S. Atlantic Ave. in Ormond Beach is open for use. 

The facility features 124 parking spaces; restrooms are available across the signaled intersection at the beach ramp. In addition to public parking, a designated space is reserved for ambulances to charge their equipment during standby. 

An operations facility on-site is nearing completion. The facility will be used to store maintenance and operational items for the Beach Safety and Coastal Divisions, and will act as a satellite office for Coastal maintenance staff. 

Overnight parking between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. is not permitted.
