News conference set for 4 p.m. today

Volusia County Government will hold a news conference at 4 p.m. today, Aug. 29, in the Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.
Speakers will include Volusia County Chair Ed Kelley, County Manager George Recktenwald, Emergency Management Director Jim Judge and Sheriff Mike Chitwood. They will discuss the latest information on Hurricane Dorian, its expected effects on Volusia County, and countywide preparations that are underway.
The news conference will be broadcast live on the Volusia County Emergency Management Facebook page.
