Additional closures announced

Florida Forest Service campgrounds

The Florida Forest Service closed a number of campgrounds around the state today, including two in Volusia County:

• River Road Campground at Lake George State Forest
• Bennett Field Campground, Bennett Field Group Camp and Tram Road Equestrian Campground at Tiger Bay State Forest

They will remain closed until further notice.

SunRail service suspended

The Florida Department of Transportation is suspending SunRail service from Monday, Sept. 2, through Friday, Sept. 6.
