Heather Post named chair of national committee

Volusia County Councilwoman Heather Post has been appointed as chair of the National Association of Counties’ Veterans & Military Services Committee.

The National Association of Counties (NaCO) unites nearly 40,000 county elected officials to promote exemplary county policies and practices, optimize county and taxpayer resources and cost savings, advocate county priorities in federal policymaking, and much more.

County Councilwoman Post said, “I am humbled to represent Volusia County and county commissioners from all over the United States in this position to tenaciously advocate and provide the best representation to our veterans and military service personnel.”
