Posted On: February 14, 2020

With the March 2 filing deadline for Homestead Exemption just a few weeks away, Volusia County Property Appraiser Larry Bartlett is hosting Exemption Checkup events at his four office locations. On Exemption Checkup days, the participating offices will remain open until 7 p.m.

“We want everyone to get all the benefits the law allows,” said Bartlett. “Come and get an Exemption Checkup, and save money on taxes.”

Exemption Checkup events will take place over two days at the four Property Appraiser offices. The Orange City office, located at 2742-A Enterprise Road, and the New Smyrna Beach office, located at 113 E. Canal Street, will remain open until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27. The DeLand office, located at 123 W. Indiana Ave., and the Holly Hill office, located at 921 N. Nova Road, will remain open until 7 p.m. on the homestead application deadline of Monday, March 2. Refreshments will be served at all Exemption Connection events.
