Edgewater Library to host lecture on aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart

Retired teacher and literary lecturer Irene Curran will discuss some theories about the disappearance of one of America’s aviation pioneers and share thought-provoking details about Earhart’s life and daring spirit during an upcoming program at the Edgewater Public Library. Coinciding with Women’s History Month, the presentation will take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24.
A retired language arts teacher, Curran travels to libraries, nursing homes and senior centers to give lectures on various authors and historical figures. The Edgewater Public Library is located at 103 W. Indian River Blvd. More information can be obtained by calling the library at 386-424-2916.
