Closures planned to accommodate Ormond Beach Library refurbishing
Posted On: March 6, 2020
The Ormond Beach Regional Library will have some upcoming closures and temporary changes in services to accommodate the ongoing refurbishing at the library, 30 S. Beach Street.
All book donations will stop being accepted on March 9 and won’t resume until April 15. The Daytona Beach Regional Library at 105 E. Magnolia Ave. is actively seeking book donations during this time, through the end of the refurbishment process.
Also, the Ormond Beach Regional Library’s adult areas – including the north entrance, the main book return slot, the main library area, the adult computers, the auditorium and the meeting rooms – will close on Monday, March 23 and will remain closed until April 13. The children’s area will remain open for limited services, such as reservation pickup, adult express books and new books for checkout, select media for checkout and children’s services. The entire branch, including all book drops and the children’s area, will be closed on April 10-12 so that the refurbishment can be completed.
Patrons are asked to consider visiting the Daytona Beach Regional Library at 105 E. Magnolia Ave., the Hope Place Public Library at 1310 Wright Street in Daytona Beach or the John H. Dickerson Library at 411 S. Keech Street in Daytona Beach during this time for reservation pickup and for expanded services and programming.
