Revenue Division reduces hours

Posted On: March 19, 2020

To support the state’s efforts to reduce the spread of coronavirus, all four Volusia County Revenue Division offices will reduce hours, starting March 23 until further notice.

The temporary hours are:

  • Mondays: 8 a.m. to noon
  • Tuesdays: 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8 a.m. to noon
  • Thursdays: 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Fridays: 8 a.m. to noon

Revenue staff will remain available to assist residents by phone and email from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For tag and title questions, call 386-254-4610. For all other questions, call 386-736-5938.

Out of an abundance of caution, residents are strongly encouraged to conduct business online rather than coming in to a Revenue Division office. To facilitate online activity, the division is temporarily waiving the third-party fee for payments made by e-check online.

Services available online include:

  • Pay property taxes
  • Renew your vehicle registration
  • Apply for and pay for business tax receipts
  • File and pay tourist and convention development taxes

For a full list of services, frequently asked questions, office locations and helpful web links, visit www.volusia.org/revenue.

There are three private tag agencies in Deltona, Daytona and Ormond Beach. The hours for the private tag agencies will be 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
