County Council meeting will be livestreamed

The Volusia County Council will hold its regular meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, in the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand.
To protect the community from further spread of the coronavirus, the public will not be allowed to attend the meeting in person. As always, the meeting will be livestreamed at www.volusia.org/livemeeting.
Those wishing to submit public comments may do so by filling out a web-based submission form, which will be available from noon Friday until 5 p.m. Monday at www.volusia.org/publicparticipation. Any comments received after 5 p.m. Monday may not be included in the report to the County Council in time for their April 7 meeting. If you are unable to use the submission form, send an email to comments@volusia.org. Instructions to interested parties to any quasi-judicial hearing agenda item are found on the agenda.

Notice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title II)
In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Volusia County will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs and activities. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity of the county, should contact the county’s ADA Title II coordinator, Michelle Leigh, at 386-248-1760.
This notice also applies to written requests by a physically handicapped person needing a special accommodation to attend a public meeting in accordance with section 286.26, Florida Statutes.
