ECHO Advisory Committee to meet May 14

Volusia County’s Environmental, Cultural, Historical and Outdoor Recreation (ECHO) Advisory Committee will hold a virtual meeting at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 14. A link to the meeting will be posted on the ECHO Advisory Committee webpage at www.volusia.org/services/community-services/echo/committee.stml.  

Residents may provide written comments regarding the agenda to chall@volusia.org or by letter to Carmen Hall, Director, Community Assistance Division, 110 W. Rich Ave., DeLand, FL 32720. Comments received by May 13 will be presented to the advisory committee and become part of the public record. Submissions must include the person’s name and address, along with ECHO Advisory Committee: public participation.

Committee members will discuss the progress of open ECHO grants and requests for time extensions.  In addition, they will consider change of scope requests for ECHO Grant 16-04 City of Holly Hill, Sunrise Park South; ECHO Grant 18-02 City of DeLand, Sperling Sport Complex Expansion; and ECHO Grant 20-05 City of Holly Hill, Pictona at Hollyland Park.

The public is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
