Human Services Advisory Board to meet May 14

Volusia County’s Human Services Advisory Board (HSAB) will hold a virtual meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14. A link to the meeting will be posted on the HSAB webpage at www.volusia.org/hsab.

Residents may provide written comments regarding the agenda to cjackson@volusia.org or by letter to Clayton Jackson, Human Services Manager, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand, FL 32720. Comments received by May 13 will be presented to the advisory board and become part of the public record. Submissions must include the person’s name and address, along with “HSAB: public participation.”

HSAB members will review the proposed fiscal year 2020-21 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) budget, the CSBG CARES Community Action Plan, CSBG Community Needs Assessment, and other reports.

The public is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
