Friday panel discussion to focus on COVID-19 physical & mental wellness

As we all know, COVID-19 has had widespread medical and economic impacts. But coping with the pandemic also can affect physical and mental wellness. This Friday, May 8, Volusia County will host a panel discussion focusing on what residents can do to take care of their overall health during these difficult times. Friday’s event will start at 10 a.m. Panelists will include the following:
Mark Spivey, licensed professional clinical counselor, Halifax Health
Andrew Williams, senior director for residential services, Stewart-Marchman-Act Healthcare
Omar Guerrero, health coach, registered dietician and certified personal trainer, Cigna
Friday’s panel discussion will be broadcast live on Volusia County Emergency Management’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement. The news media is welcome to attend and participate in the question-and-answer session. For members of the news media who wish to attend, the event will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.
