County hosts discussions on comprehensive plan

Volusia County’s Growth and Resource Management Department will host two community discussions to address proposed amendments to the Volusia County Comprehensive Plan. The discussions will take place on Tuesday, May 12, in the second-floor Historic Courthouse training room, 125 W. New York Ave., DeLand.
- A discussion of the proposed Ordinance 2020-4 regarding the Chapter 12 Conservation Element will begin at 1:30 p.m.
- A discussion of the proposed Ordinance 2020-5 regarding the establishment of the Commercial Space Industry Opportunity Overlay will begin at 3:30 p.m.
