COVID-19 panel discussion Friday on children’s issues and resources

Whether it’s keeping them healthy, helping them maintain good hygiene habits or stimulating their minds, the COVID-19 emergency is affecting children in a variety of ways. This Friday, May 15, Volusia County will host a live panel discussion addressing issues related to helping children cope in the age of coronavirus. Friday’s event will start at 10 a.m. Panelists will include the following:
- DJ Lebo, CEO, Early Learning Coalition of Flagler & Volusia
- Dr. Andria Klioze, president of the Volusia County Medical Society
- Dedra Roman, assistant regional librarian, Volusia County Library Services
Friday’s panel discussion will be broadcast live on Volusia County Emergency Management’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement. The news media is welcome to attend and participate in the question-and-answer session. For members of the news media who wish to attend, the event will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.
