County to meet with International Union of Police Associations

Staff from the Volusia County Human Resources Division will meet with representatives of the International Union of Police Associations, ALF-CIO, which represents all sworn full-time law enforcement officers in the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 9, to discuss collective bargaining.
The meeting will take place in the Volusia County Historic Courthouse, second floor training room, 125 W. New York Ave., DeLand.
Notice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title II)
In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Volusia County will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs and activities. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity of the county, should contact the county’s ADA Title II coordinator, Michelle Leigh, at 386-248-1760 at least two business days before the scheduled event or meeting.
This notice also applies to written requests by a physically handicapped person needing a special accommodation to attend a public meeting in accordance with section 286.26, Florida Statutes.
