Volusia County to have COVID-19 briefing at 2 p.m. today

Volusia County will host a COVID-19 briefing at 2 p.m. today, Friday, June 12. The scheduled speakers are as follows:
- Carmen Hall, Director, Volusia County Community Assistance
- Captain Tammy Malphurs, Public Information Officer, Volusia County Beach Safety
- Joanne Magley, Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, Daytona Beach International Airport
- Patricia Boswell, Administrator, Florida Department of Health in Volusia County
- Dr. Joe Smith, Chief Medical Officer, AdventHealth DeLand
The briefing, which is open to the media, will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road in Daytona Beach. The briefing will be streamed live on the Volusia County Emergency Management Facebook page: www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement/.
