Volusia County to have COVID-19 briefing at 2 p.m. today

Volusia County will host a COVID-19 briefing at 2 p.m. today, Friday, June 19. The scheduled speakers are as follows:

• Brad Harris, Business Manager, Volusia County Economic Development
• Ray Manchester, Director, Volusia County Beach Safety
• Holly Smith, Communications Manager/Government Liaison, Florida Department of Health in Volusia County

The briefing, which is open to the media, will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road in Daytona Beach. The briefing will be streamed live on the Volusia County Emergency Management Facebook page: www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement/.
