Committee to select artwork for airport

The Cultural Council of Volusia County’s selection committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, in the Dennis R. McGee Room at Daytona Beach International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive. Social distancing guidelines will be in effect.
Members will select artwork for the county’s Art in Public Places program as part of the airport’s renovation process. They will make recommendations to the County Council for final approval.
The Art in Public Places program, established in 1990, requires that Volusia County Government procure art for all new construction, major additions or renovation of county owned buildings.
