Posted On: July 16, 2020

In the months since the COVID-19 pandemic began, both individuals and businesses have suffered financially. This Friday, July 17, Volusia County will host a live panel discussion addressing the many assistance programs and grants available for Volusia County residents. We’ll also speak with several business grant recipients about their experience. Friday’s event will start at 10 a.m. Panelists will include the following:

  • Helga van Eckert director, Volusia County Economic Development
  • Carmen Hall, director, Volusia County Community Assistance
  • Jim Judge, director, Volusia County Emergency Management

Friday’s panel discussion will be broadcast live on Volusia County Emergency Management’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement. The news media is welcome to attend and participate in the question-and-answer session. For members of the news media who wish to attend, the event will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.
