Groundbreaking for Edwin W. Peck Sr. Park

Posted On: December 7, 2020

Volusia County will hold a ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, to celebrate the groundbreaking of Edwin W. Peck Sr. Park, 3167 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach Shores.

The beachfront park will feature over 100 parking spaces, as well as a restroom, playground, fitness stations, showers, bike racks, grills and an ADA-accessible dune walkover. Construction completion is currently scheduled for the end of 2021.

Since moving to Volusia County in 1968, Peck has developed or marketed over 30 condominium projects and has established himself as a real estate industry leader and legendary force for economic development, community service and job creation.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance will be limited. The event will be streamed live on the County of Volusia Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CountyOfVolusia.
