Holiday waste collection schedule for unincorporated areas

There will be no garbage, recycling, bulk waste and yard trash collection for residents of unincorporated Volusia County on Christmas and New Year’s days. The collection days normally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, will be the following day, Saturday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

The Tomoka Landfill and West Volusia Transfer Station will be closed Christmas and New Year’s days.
