Volusia County to have news briefing at noon Wednesday

Volusia County will host a news briefing at noon today, Jan. 6, to discuss COVID-19 vaccinations. Speakers will include:
• Jeff Brower, Volusia County Council Chair
• Patricia Boswell, Administrator with the Florida Department of Health in Volusia County
• Sheriff Mike Chitwood
The briefing, which is open to the media, will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road in Daytona Beach. The briefing will be streamed live on the Volusia County Emergency Management Facebook page at www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement/.
