Cultural Council to meet Jan. 22

The Cultural Council of Volusia County will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, in the Volusia County Council Chambers at the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand.

Members will review the final selection process for the Daytona Beach International Airport call for artists, receive updates regarding the ECHO Gallery, and discuss the 2021-2022 Community Cultural Grant. The council will also receive an update from the Volusia County Cultural Alliance.

The Cultural Council is appointed by the Volusia County Council to advise on matters relating to cultural arts in the community, and to assist in the appropriation of operational grant funding for cultural and heritage organizations in the county.
