Discover Central Florida’s: herons and egrets

Ever wonder what all those tall, long-legged birds along the shores of Central Florida’s rivers and lakes are? Don’t know the difference between a great egret and a great blue heron? If you’d like to find out the answers to these and other related questions, join local author Marcia Meara at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd.

This presentation is jam-packed with photographs, information and tips on identification. Gain a greater appreciation for these beautiful birds and share some fun along the way. Meara will also be available for a book signing after the presentation.

Attendance is limited; advance registration is required and guests are asked to wear a mask. To make a reservation, call 386-668-3840.
