Learn how to make blueberry jam

Master Naturalist Holly Giles will discuss food preservation history, where to pick your own local blueberries and demonstrate how to make blueberry jam at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd.
Learn about Frederick deBary’s cook, Aunt Lizzie, and how she ran her kitchen. Guests will receive a blueberry jam recipe card.
Giles is a docent at DeBary Hall. She has published works about using nature and community resources to learn more about where you live.
