County Council members to attend Hispanic Chamber event

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council plan to take part in the 10-year anniversary celebration of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 29.

The event will take place at One Daytona, Daytona Beach.

Notice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title II)

In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Volusia County will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs and activities. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity of the county, should contact the county’s ADA Title II coordinator, Jim Corbett, at 386-248-1760.

This notice also applies to written requests by a physically handicapped person needing a special accommodation to attend a public meeting in accordance with section 286.26, Florida Statutes.
