Join Bear Biologist Janelle Musser from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission as she discusses Florida black bear Management at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd. Shy and reclusive animals live in forested habitats but have been known to venture out in search of food – often from garbage cans.
Musser’s main job is handling and working to reduce human-bear conflicts in 22 counties covering central and northern Florida.
