County Council members to attend Stetson groundbreaking

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council plan to attend the groundbreaking of the Cici and Hyatt Brown Hall for Health and Innovation at Stetson University at 3 p.m. Friday, June 11.

This 40,000-square-foot building is being designed to help improve health outcomes in Volusia County and ensure Stetson continues to contribute to the county’s economic growth through job creation and an educated workforce. It will be home to programs in health sciences, public health, sustainable food systems and environmental sciences.
