County Council members to attend Round Table

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council will attend a meeting of the Round Table of Volusia County Elected Officials at noon Monday, July 12, in the Dennis R. McGee Room at the Daytona Beach International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive.

Ethan Johnson of the Florida Department of Health will provide an update on COVID-19 and vaccines, while Volusia County Chief Financial Officer Ryan Ossowski will discuss the coronavirus local fiscal recovery funds provided by the American Rescue Plan Act. County employees Clay Ervin and Carmen Hall will address linkage fees and affordable housing.

The group, which consists of one member each from Volusia’s cities and county government, meets regularly to discuss countywide issues and concerns.
