Learn about using bee venom as medicine and other bee products for health and well-being with beekeeper Tim Blodgett at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd.
Blodgett, a member of the Beekeepers of Volusia County, will explore the many uses of bee venom, pollen, honey, wax and propolis (bee glue) for specialized household, medicinal products and treatments.
His presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series, which Volusia County sponsors. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.
