County Council members to attend TPO meeting

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council plan to attend two meetings of the River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization.
The meetings will take place at 2570 W. International Speedway Blvd., Suite 100, Daytona Beach, on these dates:
· Executive Committee: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1
· Board of Directors: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22
The hybrid meetings will be held with an in-person quorums physically present and other members participating virtually. The TPO will establish the physical, in-person quorum in advance to allow for a minimum number of people in the boardroom.

The River to Sea TPO is an independent organization responsible for the planning and programming of all federal and state transportation funds for the areas within the River to Sea TPO Metropolitan Planning Area. This organization is the primary forum within which member local governments and citizens voice concerns, identify priorities, and plan for transportation improvements for all modes of transportation – roadway, public transportation, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
