County plans affordable housing webinar
Posted On: August 18, 2021
Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, Volusia County’s Affordable Housing Summit, originally scheduled for Aug. 27, has been postponed until later this fall.
In the meantime, county staff is scheduling virtual webinars that will continue to build on the knowledge and discussions that have already come out of the county’s Affordable Housing Initiative. The first webinar, which will begin at noon Friday, Sept. 10, will feature experts from the Florida Housing Coalition who will explain the framework of strategies that make housing affordable in a community and will outline techniques to develop a successful affordable housing plan.
To register for the webinar, visit https://bit.ly/37U1NQx. A Zoom account is required for registration.
